Barn Village
Barn Village in Steamboat Springs will likely be one of those properties people wish they had purchased when they had the chance. There are a lot of reasons to like Barn Village, and the new prices are one of the main reasons.
Barn Village in Steamboat is a newer development located between the town of Steamboat Springs and the Steamboat Ski area. It was named after the famous More barn often seen in photos of Steamboat. Barn Village had the poor timing to be developed after the downturn started, so lots that were once snapped up with minimal deposits now languish unsold. This development long term, however, looks solid. Lots offer views of the ski mountain, and some building sites are on Fish Creek.
There are 51 lots (they range in size from 0.2 acres to .5 acres) in Barn Village still available at prices in the $250,000-$300,000 range. These same lots were once priced in the $500K-$600K range.
The amenity building is finished, complete with an outdoor pool. Barn Village residents can walk to shopping, restaurants, or bike into town along the Core Trail.
