Strawberry Park

Strawberry Park is the neighborhood north of Steamboat Springs which includes Strawberry Park, Strawberry Farms, Soda Creek Highlands, and the homes up Buffalo Pass road toward Dry Creek.  It’s a beautiful area with such diverse topography it’s hard to describe it unless you see it.  As you drive on RCR 36, you’ll pass multi-million dollar homes with horses grazing in the fields.  As you go further up the (rough) road you’ll pass an impressive aspen grove with “off the grid” homes using solar panels.  Up Buffalo Pass (RCR 38), more multi-million dollar homes border the national forest and have incredible views.

The area got its name from the strawberries that were grown in the area when Steamboat was first settled.  The area is also home to Lowell Whiteman School and Strawberry Park Hot Springs.

Soda Creek Highlands has impressive views of Steamboat Springs.  Some homesites border Soda Creek.  The trailhead to the Routt National Forest is right there for hiking and snowshoeing.
